Step 1: Choose a container

  • Free

    The free shelf has pre-weighed, pre-sanitized containers for your reuse, all donated from the community. These are great for trying new products, or if you forgot to BYO!

  • Purchase new

    We stock a selection of containers in aluminum and glass. Various sizes available. Purchase once, refill forever.

Step 2: Weigh empty container

  • Where?

    There are scale/weigh stations located at the checkout counter and upon entrance to the shop.

  • Why?

    You are only charged for what you fill!

    All refillable products are charged by the ounce. We subtract the first weight from the final weight to determine the final price.

  • How?

    Set container on scale.

    Note ounces by any of the following methods:

    -Starting a weigh sheet (located at scale stations)

    -Writing directly on container

    -Use a sticker

    -Take a photo

    ...however you'd like to remember the empty weight!

Step 3: Fill your container

  • A black chalkboard listing handwritten categories and product names for personal care, including shower and bath items, body and face products, kitchen items, laundry items, baby and pet items, oils, teeth care, and hair care.

    Choose a product

    • All products are labeled with ingredients, description, and price.
    • Many have samples for you to smell; some even have samples for you to try.
    • Read instructions prior to filling to understand how much you may need to fill - we carry many concentrated formulas!

  • Dispense product

    • Liquids are dispensed by pumping product from 1-gallon, 5-gallon, 30-gallon, or 55-gallon containers.
    • Powders have scoops available.
    • Need help? Staff are happy to help to avoid spillage and to save your muscles for arm day ;)
    • Remember: fill up on as little or as much as you need.

Step 4: Re-weigh

  • Where?

    Bring your filled containers to the scale/weigh station located near the entrance to the shop and checkout counter.

  • Why?

    You are only charged for what you fill!

  • How?

    At checkout:

    Tell staff member: product and scent of each filled container.

    Set container on scale.

    We will subtract first and final weights to find the fill weight.

    Our computer will do the math for final pricing.
